I have discovered evidence that Margaret Fuller was not the author of the reviews signed "F." in "The Dial," nor all but a handful of the reviews, essays and reports signed with a "star" (*) in the 1844-46 New York "Tribune." She lied about these things in private correspondence to close friends and family; a rumor grew; and Fuller acquiesced to that rumor. The real author, as my research has revealed, was Mathew Franklin Whittier, younger brother of poet John Greenleaf Whittier, who had been using both signatures for years before 1844, and continued to use them (particulrly the "star") for many years afterwards. All of Mathew's "star"-signed published work, from 1829 to 1873, matches in style, philosophy and sensibilities. By my count, Fuller published eleven of Mathew's pieces in her 1846 compilation, "Papers on Literature and Art," making of her a massive plagiarist and a white-collar criminal. Personally, while she may have been a legitimate early feminist, as a philosopher and a Transcendentalist I think she was a pseudo-intellectual, who dishonestly built her reputation in these fields on the back of Mathew Franklin Whittier's anonymous work.

The sequel of this movie showed up on my favorite pirate site and it didn't have a trailer, so i thought "what the hell. maybe the first one in the series is where i should start!" Sure enough, there's a trailer....and it did NOT disappoint with its shittiness all the way around! And since this first one is on youtube for free, i'll start here and work myself into the original. Let's hope the actors either a) memorized their lines, or b) can read cue cards in a natural fashion!

I watched this movie last night and it left me with deep instrospection about my own self. I am about to turn 69. All my life I loved books and literature, but I had suffered an obstacle, a mild type of ADD. It was complicated. I could not focus on more than a few pages, and regardless, I did feel the call of literature. My tragedy was similar to a painter who is blind or a musician who was deaf but lacking the training of a Beethoven to be able to express music even though deaf. I frankly never paid much attention to that problem since I loved to listen to music, write and paint, as well as having a passion for art history, as well, as the research in esoteric knowledge. I collected hundreds of books through my life, and it was painful to know that I would not have enough time read them or enough years to live to read most of them. I pushed this existential chapter into the dark side of the moon, the unconscious part of my awareness and it did re appear last night, though this haunting intellectual film, unlike any average american films, this film was in the genre that we used to watch in Greenwich village during the 1970s, deep films, cult films, films outside the mold, not looking for success, or any oscars, but films with a purpose to heal even if only one person out there., films with brutal honesty and individuation, and a purpose. If I dare say, something finally woke up in me watching this film, and it was the courage to listen that ancient call from literature inside of me. I read my first literature book at the age of 15, in spanish, ¨La casa de Bernarda Alba¨ by Garcia -Lorca, a short play. A few months later my family moved to New York and the english language was a challenge that I some how recovered from in three months when I began to read Crime and Punishment by Dostovietsky , encouraged by my uncle who was a great mentor. Yet,. Far was I from knowing that it was an amazing deed, I felt instead insecured, unfit to finish reading that novel, and a few years passed when I came across the books to enlightened my way, one by the french symbolist Arthur Rimbaud, written when he was only 17 years and the trilogy of the Lord of the Rings by Tolkiens, in 1973. Those two books plus Henry Millerś book, a study about Arthur Rimbaud ¨the Time of the Assasins¨ Those books set me on the path of the Fool in the Tarot, a wandering timeless teenage soul until i carshlanded again and again...LIfe is beautiful, so is hope, literature, art and love...

Not a great film tbh...characters are hollow with a sense of entitlement...why would 3 idiots feel they are entitled to the gold when they didnt find it?? 4/10

I enjoyed this. However the young guy (sorry didn't catch his name in this ) did not have an accurate opinion on a couple of things. One being he said that RVZ didn't do much as a front man. RVZ did more than meets the eye. The most hard working front man out there. And I found out why he was barefoot... His hearing wasn't that good.. so he could feel the heat and vibration from his feet. He had to make sure that band ran tight .

I watched the full documentary on Tubi. I'm still upset after hearing Ed King tell about Burns throwing the hotel Manager’s cat out the window and it was from top floor is it killed it! I'm furious. The man should have been arrested for animal abuse!! The rest of it is good and very interesting. But I love all animals and have had many cats. So that part upset me terribly.

I am old enough to barely remember watching The Monkees on TV and hearing one of those (then) common news briefs that would get played during commercial breaks, announcing headline stories which one would watch on the 11 o'clock news later that evening. At any rate, I swear it said that Paul had just been in an auto accident, nothing more. I was shocked and stayed up to hear what had happened. However, that night's news said not one word further, regarding Paul being in a car crash. I was VERY confused. Only MANY years later did I hear rumors that Paul had actually DIED in that 1966 car crash. I also heard about another terrible thing that supposedly happened to Paul that same year, in which Paul was struck in the mouth by some guy who was jealous over how much his girlfriend loved Paul. I heard that Paul had his brother Mike take photos of the injury, and only later did Paul claim those injuries were the result of a moped acident.

Clearly not, George, this is a misinformation video in order to cast a shadow of doubt around the truth
